Japan Rail Pass, JR Pass Important Information and Policies

 Important Information

Please read the following information and make sure you have understood before you order a JR Pass.

In order for us to process your order and ship the same day, you must complete your order BEFORE 1:00PM Pacific Time.  Please note that we do not use weekend delivery services.  Orders processed on Friday will be shipped on Friday. However you will receive them the following Tuesday (Standard Shipping), or Monday (Over Night Shipping), excluding holidays.

If you are a local customer are would like to pickup your passes at Our Office, your order will be ready for pickup in the following business day after 1:00pm.
For the payment for Japan Rail Pass, credit card billing address is restricted in the fifty states of the United States of America for fraud prevention and security purpose.
1.   To receive your JR Exchange Order you must purchase the Exchange Order at least four (4) business days prior to your departure date for normal shipping and processing.  For faster service please Contact Us.
2.   Without the Exchange Order you will not be issued the JR Pass once you are in Japan.
3.   We can not Fax your Exchange Order to you, it must be the original copy. 
4.   You must redeem the Exchange Order within the 3 months of the issue date on the Exchange Order.
     
  Shipping Policy
Japan Rail Passes, JR Passes are primary shipped only to addresses in the United States, Hawaii and Alaska. We do not ship to International addresses, APO / FPO addresses or P.O. boxes. 
Processing Time and Shipping Information:
Your request will be processed and shipped within 24 hours of receiving your request.  Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM pacific time and closed holidays. No request will be processed until the following business day if submitted over the weekend or holiday.

Shipping Method:
We ship JR Passes with 2nd Day Air Service (no Saturday delivery service).

Standard Shipping:   Continental United States  $15.00
Standard Shipping:   Alaska and Hawaii   $25.00
Over night Shipping: Continental United States  $20.00
Over night Shipping: Alaska and Hawaii  $30.00

  Refund Policy
Japan Rail Pass, JR Pass refunds are available. Please read the requirements below. Should you have more questions please contact us at 1-800-852-0109 and we will be happy to assist you.
 A. An Exchange Order that has not been exchanged in for a JAPAN RAIL PASS can be returned to the office where it was purchased for a refund, within one year of the date of issue. In such case there will be Ten percent service charge of the purchase price.
 B. After an Exchange Order is exchanged in for a JAPAN RAIL PASS, the PASS can be return to any JAPAN RAIL PASS exchange office for a refund if this is done before the starting date for the use of the PASS. (Ten percent of the yen price of the PASS will be charged as a handling fee.)
 C. No refund can be made for any reason on or after the designated starting date.
 D. No refund on a JAPAN RAIL PASS can be made in the event of train non-operation, delay or the likely hood of labor disputes.
 E. Unfortunately, No refund if stolen or lost.
